	Miss Mayra Gonzalez has been with CCC since 2014. Ms. Gonzalez graduated from the MA program at CCC, eventually continuing her education and completing a Master of Science in Nursing. Ms. Gonzalez is an experienced NICU nurse, bringing a wealth of knowledge into her classrooms. 	Miss Susan Reno is a Licensed Vocational Nurse, she also possesses a Master's of Education, in which she focused on instructional technology. Miss Reno is a USAF Veteran, having served the country as a Medic - experience she brings to the classroom, along with her Military Advanced Practiced LVN experience. 	Ms. Stephanie Kurata joined our department in spring 2018. Ms. Kurata is a practicing Nurse Practitioner, specializing in reproductive endocrinology and fertility. Prior to joining CCC, Ms. Kurata provided continuing education to fellow healthcare providers and staff at Kaiser Permanente. 	Prof. Jessica Le has been with CCC since 2016. She has been a Medical Assisting educator since 2002, often working in practice as a Medical Assistant while also teaching part-time. Prof. Le's professional experience as a Medical Assistant in hospital and private practice, along with being a seasoned educator, provide the foundation for her service to students as the Program Chair and professor. 	Mrs. Mayte Hernandez is a graduate of the CCC Medical Assisting Program and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley. Ms. Hernandez was a teaching assistant with the MA program for five years prior to joining as faculty in 2023. She currently works full-time at a clinic in Berkeley as a Medical Assistant and mentor.
